The Likierman Library is located in the west wing of the Sammy Ofer Centre.

The Library desk is currently staffed

Monday-Friday     10:00 - 19:00hrs

We are monitoring email, LibChat and phone:
Monday-Friday     09:00-19:00hrs
Saturday               11:00  - 17:00hrs​

Bank holiday hours may vary.

Borrowing

Borrow, return, renew books 24/7 using the kiosks in the Library.

 

We also lend chargers and laptops.

E-books are listed in our catalogue -  just look for the URL.

Library policies

Mobile phones should be off or set to silent. Take calls away from quiet and silent study areas.

Food and drink is tolerated but consider others nearby and dispose of your litter.  Eat hot or strong smelling food in the student lounge (floor 1).

If you trigger the security system you may be asked to show the contents of your bags to staff.

We cannot take responsibility for your possessions in the Library. Do not leave valuables unattended.

Level 0     Library Enquiry Desk, books, catalogue, self-issue.
                 Silent Study Room on lower level.
Level 2     Finance Suite - SO.W2.01 and SO.W2.02     
Level 2a   Likierman Reading Room - 82 seats, (22 PCs, 8 Macs.) Alumni Suite.
Level 2b  5 bookable seminar rooms.
Level 3     Quiet study area 1 – 30 PCs. Quiet study area 2 – 4 PCs and 12 Macs.

Finance Suite

The Finance Suite
Rooms SO.W2.01 and SO.W2.02.  Here you can  access Bloomberg, Datastream (via Eikon database), Eikon, Morningstar and the CIQ Add-In. Login instructions are next to each terminal.

September 2020: Please be aware not all terminals will be available for use at the present time as some of our Bloomberg licences are being redeployed to allow for remote access.

If you are using the Bloomberg terminals you will need to run a diagnostic programme to get the Excel Add in for Bloomberg to install. The file below contains the simple to follow instructions on how to do this. Instructions are also posted in the Finance Suite.

Two of our Bloomberg terminals and the two Eikon terminals can be booked in advance (max of 2 one hour sessions per customer per day). To book a slot click on the buttons.
